Arabesque 2 is a collection of recent cutting-edge work by young designers and activists from the Arab world and Iran, published by Gestalten. The book’s rich selection of groundbreaking visuals is supplemented by texts and interviews that describe the environments in which the featured designers and artists work. Several designers and design studios from around the world were asked to participate, among them Parachute which was featured in the book with DIN Text Arabic. First published in June 2010, DIN Text Arabic is based on Parachute’s popular DIN Text Pro superfamily and contains the most complete and powerful array of arabic features commercially available.
