Basic guidelines for font licensing

Logotype License
Our standard EULA clearly states that you may not use the font software or portion of it as part of a copyrighted logo or trademark unless you obtain additional licensing. As long as you have purchased a standard license, you don’t have to buy additional license if –for your logo requirements you modify specific letters by more than 50%. In many cases we do not ask for additional license when the font is not the main visual symbol of the logotype (an example would be the name of the company which accompanies the emblem). In other cases you may have to purchase an additional license if the font is used as a wordmark or makes a bold statement as a logo signature. Please provide thorough details in order to determine the exact cost.
