PF Ornamental Treasures belongs to a very special series of ornamental font families never before released. This is a form of artistic expression which was developed between the 9th and 15th century at the centers of the Byzantine civilization. The majority of Byzantine art is represented with wall paintings, mosaics, iconography and illuminated manuscripts (visit our blogspot to read more historic facts). Unfortunately, these historic treasures were kept from the public eye for centuries. Following an extensive research, Parachute® unearthed these treasures and created an unprecedented series of ornaments with great interest to designers, architects, scholars, artists, researchers and students. An attempt was made to create a series which works equally well for historic as well as contemporary applications. Furthermore, each package includes up to 9 fonts (layers) per glyph, which enable the user to create with an unlimited combination of colours in any program, without converting glyphs to outlines. Additionally, several glyphs connect with each other to form banners, frames and exquisite backgrounds. Each purchased package comes with a comprehensive guide which explains how to handle the ornamental fonts in seconds.

Currently we offer the following font formats for immediate download after purchasing.
Desktop (otf) for all desktop applications with a standard license for 5 workstations. Additional licensing may be purchased at checkout.
Webfonts. The webfont package includes woff, eot and svg files linked via the @font-face technology. They are purchased once -with no time limitation- based on your estimated website traffic. Our standard license starts at 500,000 pageviews/month. Additional license may be purchased at checkout. We offer 2 hosting options: Self-hosting directly on the licensee’s own server and Typekit hosting (available soon) i.e. hosting through your Typekit account.
Mobile App. Fonts may be embedded in iOS, Android and Windows apps. Basic license covers one app on multiple platforms for one year. Licensing for additional years as well as a perpetual license may be purchased at checkout.
ePublication. Fonts may be embedded in electronic publications such as eBooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers. Basic license covers one title for one year. Licensing for additional years as well as a perpetual license may be purchased at checkout.
